Mahajan imaging def col

Anyone know how is this facility in south delhi. Their price seems way up there and I get the sense hefty commiasion is being paid to doctors referring more

It is very true and in the recent news paper reports have reported that unnecessary tests and procedures are recommended and done which are not at all necessary. You consult a senior doctor for an heart ailment and how do you that this procedure has been performed by him or by his junior you just believe what you have been told. You go to a particular doctor as you think that he is a senior doctor and has good reputation. But what happens when you come to know that the procedure has been performed by some one else. I do not know what will happen our hospitals. You must be reading in the news papers about some article or instrument hap been left in the stomach after the operation due to the negligence of the doctor. Commission taking in the medical profession has no limits. GOD bless this community. more
UP TO FIFTY PERCENT COMMISSIONS ARE BEING PAID TO REFERRING DOCTORS BY MOST LABS. YOU CAN SEE THE LIST OF CGHS APPROVED RATES FOR THE VARIOUS TESTS TO GET IDEA OF OVERCHARGING. SOME DOCTORS ARE PRESCRIBING UNNECESSARY TESTS (COSTLY ONES) TO GET COMMISSIONS. MRI IS FREQUENTLY RECOMMENDED, EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. TAKING SECOND OPINION ,ESPECIALLY FROM A GOVT. RUN HOSPITAL MAY HELP, IN GIVING THE FAIR IDEA. HEALTH MINISTRY/ MEDICAL COUNCILS SHOULD PUBLISH THE RATE LIST OF THE MEDICAL TESTS. more
Dear Ms Jain, They have some of the latest systems and therefore are charging more that others. I suggest that you can get some discount if you book your test for the same place through www.medcross.in, you can either register online or call them on the given number to get a confirm appointment. Best Wishes Samir more
