Majority Parents against sending wards to schools in April

As most of you know LocalCircles since April 20 has been tracking the collective pulse in circles on reopening of schools. After a long 8 months, most of you in late Jan expressed support for reopening of schools. The same was escalated and it happened in most parts of the country. Once again, with rising COVID cases, the situation has deteriorated and this time its different. The new strain B.1.1.7 is far more infectious amongst children in comparison to the original one. Below is the link to the latest survey report in which many of you participated.

School Reopening Survey April 21

You are welcome to share the same with other parents, school management and local officials as LocalCircles shares it with Central Government and all State Government leaders.

At the end, a thorough appreciation to all of you who had the foresight to understand that things could deteriorate again in summer and hence schools should open when they could in February. None of us of course thought that the summer spike would come so soon!

As always do share your inputs on concerns as well as finding a solution to this situation so children can get back to physical schools at the earliest. more
