Increase in vehicles catching fire on roads !
It is an average of one per day of four wheelers catching fire in Hyd .This is the info from news papers quoting police sources.
This is abnormal and not acceptable from standards of motor vehicles all over the world.In some countries they stop a new model imported accidents occur like this Untill it is clinched.
The cause may be installation of modification electrical mostly which may result and halogen lamps etc.
The original engines are fully fire proof sealed Untill you tamper.The theory of over heating is just ridiculous.The nextfact is sabotage which cannot beruled out.
This pattern needs urgent review of vehicular standards in India and analysis of these fire accidents.
They must not allow electrical modifications ,conversion to gas and other ornamental changes.
The state depts are not efficient in analysing as they and insurance is always bothered by incomes generated by vehicles and not its safety.
It is time that production must be stopped of models Untill detailed analysis is made and causes identified by companies to reduce these recurring fire accidents on roads. more
