Farmer Issue - Win of Bad over good reform..

It is a typical case of vested interests sabotaging the reforms . It will be a big setback for the Government to push further reforms. Government is to naïve and not able to anticipate and manage or manipulate the situation in the larger interest. A government has to be strong and determined to achieve its agenda by using some coercion also if required more

The ordnance was in place 6 months before the laws were passed and the laws were duly passed in both houses. If the laws were not good for farmers all the farmers all over India would have agitated and not only Punjab farmers. If Punjab farmers need help to get out of the trap of Paddy and MSP they should come out with plans to switch to other crops and government should support them instead of buying Paddy which can not be sold. more

The farm laws were passed hastily when what was needed is that each bills should have been debated and held for scrutiny. No confidence that this would pass scrutiny, seems to be the impression given by the government.
