Dustbins at all places

I personally feel that there should be ample provision of dustbins to collect waste at all places in the country. If people do not have a place to dispose off waste, they naturally would throw it anywhere.

This measure is essential for the successful execution of the swatch bharat mission. more

It is certainly an honour to be a part of such a cause for nation building more
The crux is that the local bodies should be strengthened. I will allot some time for this cause having been invited. more
In cities like Bangalore households are clean. Roads, public places and religious places have to be kept clean. This shows poor performance of local bodies for which fund crunch may be the cause. I rural areas the mind set attitudes and information have all to be propped up. There is need for awareness amidst cleaning. The movement looks to have made considerable impact taking 2nd October as the bench mark. Hope it does not end as tokenism.India should unanimously move ahead to make such programs a success. more
this is going to be most effective. will cost money and so may need corporate contributors. litters cant be wished away. people must conveniently find a place to dump. dust bins. spittoons. urinals. it was so disappointing to see people openly urinating on puri beach in large numbers. yes, fine is a must. i have seen even in the US areas under less surveillance are dirty. particularly the spitters and urinators must be fined heavily. let there be a scheme to reward public for posting such pictures on dedicated websites, possibly where people can be identified. more
