Another facts is that there must have been 5000 women in the counting of 10000 persons who also might have been tortured. more

Dear Shri Shiv Avtar Ji, In a situation where out of 2627 cases only 69 cases gets convicted that means 2558 cases were filed wrongly abusing the law process. These 2558 cases must have involved around 10000 persons on an average. Now these 10000 persons must have been tortured. Do we still say Gujarat development model is required to be replicated. The more number of false cases means the more corruption and that is what old and experienced rulers are not talking and addressing. This is the example of statistics that has been uploaded in this group. It requires a serious consideration. more

My initial analysis, out of 2627 cases of domestic violence in Gujarat where trial completed in 2011 in Gujarat, only 69 were convicted. It means there is more abuse of torture cases by husband in Gujarat implying more corruption in Gujarat. Similar is the situation in Maharashtra as well as Karnataka. So far BJP has been pretending to be development. more
