Action on Recommendations - Letter to Delhi Health Minister

Many of you had given inputs on how many charitable/private hospitals in Delhi have enjoyed free/subsidized land and exemption on income taxes in the last decade under the promise of treating EWS category patients. However, very few EWS patients have received this treatment.

Based on your inputs, attached is our letter sent today to Minister of Health, Delhi requesting him to initiate investigation on the matter at the earliest.

You are welcome to share the same with Print/TV/Digital media to create broader awareness on the matter and if you have additional inputs, please feel free to respond.

I am not residing at Delhi , but common experience focuses on :1.Most of the hospitals could treat dog not human being in India2. Pathological facilities of hospitals are out of preview of the common people because they are tagged with commercial Pathological institutes in exchange of cut money3. There so many brokers in hospital premises who takes money in providing hospital services4. Medicines are very much in the stock , but not supply to the patientsand son.....Dr. kamal RayTrustee ( HRI )West Bengal

In future government should be banned by Law to give Land to any private sector Hospital , School or Collage. Corruption will automatically go from these sectors. In India letters of this nature does not get you any where. As both the Bureaucrat and politician Give free land to make money for themselves and not for good of general public ..... lobby and make a Law preventing allotment of free/ subsidised Land to any one. more
