what mattress are you using that has helped your back? Many times broken or cheap mattress causes back pain in people. I have suffered in past. more

Simple cotton mattress or, even without any mattress, along with a proper sleeping / sitting postures are the best ways to avoid any back problems. Additionally, with daily practice of some Yoga Asanas and Pranayamas, one can lead a back pain free life. more

If you are planning to buy foam mattress then ensure that it has a density of atleast 40 . Mostof commercial mattress are of density of 32 only. Please buy good quality brand name . I have been using mattress for more than 10 years and yet they are strong and sturdy without any issues. You can add thin cotton mattress as an additional mattress if you are used to sleep on cotton mattress. more

Don't go by advt hype. Go for Indian traditional home made good cotton mattress. more

Hard bed with cotton mattress is the best. more
