No doubt, Schools to be opened looking into following: 1. Whether School Authorities and Ministry of Education have finalised syllabus which could be covered by learning during balance Days of School's Calender year ? 2. Though the Schools are started for Physically Learning, 15% declared discount on Fees (Declared by Government Of Maharashtra) should be constantly / consistently maintained by Respective Government's. 3. Moreover to Sr. No. 2 above, State Government's and their Water and Electricity Boards Authorities should not Charged Water and Electricity bills to any of the School ..... Let it be Municipal School or Private School. 4. Regional Transport Authorities (R.T.O.) of respective States to look into issuing permission to allow to Run School Buses, Vans and Auto Rickshaws without charging any penalties for number of Students that they are carrying .... Especially in case of School Vans, cabs and Auto Rickshaw's. 5. Instead of " Social Distancing" , Social Hygiene of the Students and facilities at Schools to be Administered by respective School Authorities. 6. more
The larger dynamic here. The general level of education is such that we in India give more importance to putting other activities, such as running shops and establishments, before education. Or how does one explain that students who could be brought back into schools, remain at home, simply for commercial reasons since they got free schooling, these being the economically weak. Now with commerce gaining greater salience, the framework or infrastructural necessity serving function of teaching has been made secondary. Also, the rich, rather than the stakeholders, become the rule makers, leaving aside the poor. Poor who needed the levelling opportunity provided by getting themselves educated, have seen their say in being granted the same, now left in limbo. Hopefully such cliques happy with current situation wherein their children are getting schooled through online classes, will realise this truth, when they say education's socialising and human aspects that just happened by the in-person presence schooling the traditional way ensured, now have been ignored. more
