Private Hospital Services - Issues Faced

Bureau of Indian Standards and LocalCircles are now working together and one of the areas undertaken is to set standards for services industry. With this post, we would like to seek your inputs on various issues you have faced in regards to hospital services in Delhi and NCR.
Once we have all the inputs, we will have a seperate discussion on how standards for hospital services can help address them. We look forward to your inputs! more

It would be riddled with bureaucratic harangues if you tag all services. Let's go sector by sector, private hospitals being the first. more

The hospitals keep you in the hospital till 11,00 AM on the day of discharge on the pretext the bill is not ready. They add Half-day charge in the bill which the patient is made to pay. The doctors visit you after their consultation timings and the visit is at your expense even if the patient is sleeping. more

Commercialisation has turned into loot. Fake tests, exorbitant rates, 40% doctor's and pressure to earn for their package through unethical practices. They have not even spared the canteen for the attendants and visitors. Medicine cartel is no less. more
