Yelahanka (Bangalore) railway station has been newly renovated and the directions are not properly given and on purpose the citizens are misled by ill minded people(Platform Tkt, Asst Station master and booking clerk) and the citizens are being fleeced of their hard earned money. I went to the station along with my wife to receive my inlaws who are senior citizens. A guy suddenly sprang up and said you do not have platform ticket and need to pay a fine of Rs 640 for myself and my wife and he gave a receipt of Rs 320 and when I protested he said we are Govt employees and we have power and you can do whatever you want. I again went to the station and inquired with the station master and he admitted that this platform tkt collector the booking clerk have even man handled some people and advised to file a complaint it sems he has also manhandled another person for not having platform ticket. I have complained online online and the response is they have inquired and the booking clerk is denying and saying that only one person has come There were more than 6 people around us when this incident happened this is a day light robbery by Govt staff. We are not her to pay taxes to get fleeced. I want immediate action to be taken on this matter by ministry.
