Restore Railway concession for Senior Citizens
Now most of the trains are operating and Railways are saving a substantial sum due to withdrawal of supply of bedding materials as well as running food in the trains.
Corona is reducing and even otherwise senior citizens are travelling in trains. It is not that senior citizens are not traveling by trains, because for long distance, this is the only mode of travel which connects many remote locations within India as well as cost effective method especially for middle class.
This is the only facility where some concession is provided by the GOI to senior citizens.
So my request is to restore the concession for senior citizens which was prevalent prior to March 2020.
