I, RETIRED DEFENCE PENSIONER AND SENIOR CITIZEN, WISH TO BRING TO LOCAL CIRCLES/GOVT STATE/CENTRAL ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF HOME BUYERS UNISHIRE ELAN, THANNISANDRA, BENGALURU-WE BOOKED 3 FLATS IN 2015 AND THE PROJECT DID NOT TAKE OFF-THE FINANCIAL CREDITOR VLS WENT FOR LQUIDATION PROCESS-THE MAJOR CREDITOR ALTICO WANTS TO GRAB ALL THE MONEY OF THE LIQUIDATION PROCESS AND AROUND 30-40 HOME BUYERS WHO HAVE INVESTED 20 PERCENT ADVANCE TO THE TUNE OF 10-15 LAKHS EACH ARE AT THE MERCY OF ALTICO. THE INSOLVENCY BANKRUPTCY CODE HAS GIVEN PRIORITY TO SECURED CREDITORS AND HOME BUYERS ARE CATEGORISED AS UNSECURED. THIS IS THE COBWEB THESE BIG CREDITORS ARE MADE THE LAW. WHY CENTRAL GOVT OF HONORABLE PM MODIJI HAS NOT MADE THE FIRST PRIORITY FOR HOME BUYERS? WE HOME BUYERS ARE ALSO PAID THROUGH SECURED BANK CHEQUE/ DRAFT/ RTGS. THEN HOW SECURED PAYMENT MADE THROUGH CHEQUE/ DRAFT/NEFT/ RTGS ARE NOT TREATED AS SECURED CREDITORS??? PLEASE LOCAL CIRCLE VETERANS HELP US TO BRING TO THE NOTICE OF PM/ FM/ HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT MINISTER TO AMEND THE LAW THAT HOME BUYERS WHO HAVE PAID THROUGH SECURED PAYMENT GATEWAY LIKE CHEQUE/ DRAFT/ NEFT/ RTGS ETC AND NOT THROUGH CASH ARE TREATED AS SECURED CREDITORS AND MORE PRIORITY THAN THE INSTITUTIONAL/ PRIVATE SECURED CREDITORS. PLEASE HELP US.
