It is no where near the Delhi Metro

Today I had first experience with NAMMA METRO from Yelachenahalli to Lalbagh, I landed up paying Rs 30 as two wheeler parking, (as my house is 2.2 km from this station, NO FIDDER SERVICE) then 44 Rs. for Metro fare, which is comparability to Delhi Metro is two high (delhi it would be Rs 15/- , then I paid rS. 30 for AUTO to Lal Bagh Road, which is again 2.5 km. In total I paid 92 rupees, my petrol cost could have been only Rs. 40/, it did not save time also, in fact it took 5 mins extra. How this Metro is cheap and affordable. Is Govt listening
